Thanksgiving at our home

The holidays were so special this year...not only because we had two little ones to share them with but because we were living in our beautiful, new, family home.
We knew early on that we wanted to host Thanksgiving and have both of our families come....the Seahawks were playing the 49ers and we wanted everyone to be able to meet the babies (if they hadn't already) and to see our home. We asked family to bring dishes to help out and we did the main dishes....the turkey, gravy, potatoes and dressing. As time got closer and the babies started to go to bed at 7 (this was life changing) I had a little more time (I should have been sleeping) so I decided to do what I do best....get crafty. :)

I found these printables on Pinterest (of course) and they are what inspired me.

When we first had friends over to the house I was so worried about the marble...but then I had a great idea. I thought to put clear vinyl over the bar. It doesn't look fabulous but it does the job for parties and then I don't have to worry.

The kids table, I can't wait to have one of these for Chloe and Richie.

Our nephews.

And the most beautiful flower arrangement ever. Met Market did such a great job getting my vision and putting together something so beautiful. :) I love flowers and these were prefect and smelled so wonderful.

Cousins...Richie and Clyde

And Chloe and Jillian...Jillian 2 months and Chloe 5.

I guess the babies weren't too into smiling that day. :) I sure love them. So cute....and now just over two months later they are so much bigger.

Grandma and Grandpa took a picture for their Christmas card. Grandma knitted the dresses for Chloe and Jillian.

I think Chloe looks like a little doll in this picture...poor thing was not enjoying the pic. :)

It was a wonderful Thanksgiving...especially with the seahawk win. We can't wait for next year.

7 months!

Yay! I'm so excited to be back and blogging. :)
There are so many things I want to/need to post. But first of all I will start with the babies of course. The other week on January 25th the babies turned 7 months old already. I know that everyone says this but its true...I can't believe how fast it is going.

After our photoshoot Richie grabbed Chloe's bow off. :) Silly guy!

Our first snow....A family trip to Suncadia.
We drove from Suncadia to watch the Seahawks play in the NFC championships. The babies stayed there with grandma and grandpa.

We started swim class. They love it.
Chloe is already turning pages in books.

Starting solids! We love our boon high chairs.

Don't mind my super annoying voice. :)

They loved to eat the bibs more than the food. After I took the bibs off we had more success.

My laundry helper.

We love to try and hold our bottles.
We are so fast and so sneaky....Richie did this then the next day Chloe did the same thing.

Lays on his tummy and sticks is arms out like he is trying to fly
Makes a huge mess when eating solids
